Another great short by Loop Creative Director, Craig Kirkham, Xplosion chronicles the inner thoughts of a man during the moments preceding his wife’s untimely death in a gas explosion. Here’s the kicker, wifey was in bed with another man during the fatal explosion.

Xplosion has been screened at the Toronto One Minute Film and Video Festival, Filminute, and the New York Minute Film Festival.

Loop’s Creative Director, Craig Kirkham co-directed this disconcerting short about a man who reaches out for companionship but receives none. Of course, his lack of response drives him batty and we are left to revel in the hostile ramblings of a lonely nut. Based on a true story, Kirkham and co-director Thelon Oeming capture the essence of the troubling phone messages through a sketchy and anxious aesthetic.
