Loopmedia was approached by Toronto’s General Purpose Pictures to create the opening for their upcoming broadcast program, Making House. A reality based docu-drama, the show follows Jenn and Chad, a designer and a contractor respectively, as they build their dream home. Adding to the renovation drama are the couples 3 young children, not to mention the 4th that’s on its way. The series chronicles the trials and tribulations of the young family as they complete their renovations on a tight budget and an even tighter timeline. Loopmedia created the opening for Making House, including the shows logo. Using live action footage of the family shot in studio on a clean white backdrop, Loop designed and animated a contemporary and fun opening sequence. Loopmedia’s creative director Craig Kirkham worked closely with Director/Executive Producer Scott Clark McNeil and Producer Mitch Burman on set to create the unique look achieved by the live action shoot.
